The Hope for Wildlife Society has teamed up with Chris Hawkins, a professional falconer, in order to prepare a Broad-Winged Hawk for release into the wild.  The training will focus on hunting skills, a special practice that has not been done before in N.S.

Our 100 foot long flight cage is now finished! Click here to see some photos of its construction.

The Hope for Wildlife Society has finished putting its newest program - the rehabilitation of birds of prey - into place and needs your support for this very worthwhile project.

Our new Raptor Rehabilitation Program is the latest major program taken on by our Society and is a result of the retirement of the founders of the Atlantic Raptor Rehabilitation Centre, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, after 25 years of selfless service to the community. We are very grateful to the Atlantic Raptor Rehabilitation Centre for its many years of valuable service and for generously donating over $30,000 worth of flight cages to our Society.

We are now asking for individual and corporate donors to come forward to help us operate and maintain this program for the care of these majestic birds.

Warmest Regards,

Hope Swinimer, CVPM
