JUST BORN! - CLICK TO ENLARGE |
Meet "Sonja". This photo was taken shortly after she was born. Her mother was hit by a car and Sonja and her twin were still
inside the mother's womb. Thanks to a quick thinking Paramedic and Scotsburn truck driver, Sonja was rescued and received
emergency surgery at the Dartmouth Veterinary Hospital. Sadly, Sonja was the only one to survive. See the full story on
our In the News! page (on menu bar to your left).
Donations are urgently being sought to help the Hope for Wildlife Society maintain a large enclosure for the rehabiliation-for-release
of white-tailed deer. Without an approved facility in Nova Scotia for the rehabilitation of these deer, all fawns found in
the province will be euthanized!
We have been approved as a rehabilitation facility for the white-tailed deer but we need YOUR HELP in raising funds for the
maintenance of the necessary enclosure and for the medical supplies and food necessary for the deer.
Please help us today by sponsoring a square foot of fencing for $25.00. Your donation will be recognized on the wall of our
Education Room.
You may make a donation by clicking on the donation link at the bottom of each web page (please enter "fencing" on the form)
or by mailing your cheque to:
Hope for Wildlife Society
5909 Highway 207, RR2, Site 14, Box 1

If you would like to sponsor more than one foot of fencing and in several names, please indicate this on the donation form
or send us an email, once you have made your donation, with the necessary details.
Thank You!
